A New Christmas Carol Features A Black Santa Claus

Ethnic Animations and Successful Black Parenting magazine launch It’s Almost Christmas right in time for children during the holidays. This Christmas story is a twist on the classic, Twas A Night Before Christmas. This story adds diversity to holiday classics where you only see white children and a white Santa. Children want and need to see images in their own likeness, which adds to the diversity in film, including animations, said Janice Robinson-Celeste, the creator of the animations and the publisher of Successful Black Parenting magazine. “I just hope parents love it and share it so that every child can see it and appreciate it.”

Whether or not Robinson-Celeste will make It’s Almost Christmas into a children’s book like she’s done with previous animations she stated, “Maybe?” Comment below and let us know what YOU think of It’s Almost Christmas and follow Ethnic Animations on YouTube.
