Meet Terri-Nichelle Bradley, Founder of Brown Toy Box

The visionary founder of Brown Toy Box, Terri-Nichelle Bradley, believes that every child must feel seen and included. She aims to disrupt the longstanding $27 billion toy industry model with a brand that authentically represents our increasingly diverse realities in real-time. Brown Toy Box started in 2017 as a supplier of STEAM kits and has evolved into the leading educational toy company creating and curating STEAM toys, media, and experiences around the joyous lives of Black children.

Before starting her company, Terri-Nichelle worked as a PR exec at one of the most prominent agencies. She has represented Fortune 500 corporations and created influential initiatives to encourage prominent businesses to promote integrated advertising plans and involve the African American population. Her broad range of experience, enthusiasm, and dedication to the assignment has been recognized with numerous awards, including the 2019 Civic Impact Award and being named one of Atlanta’s Top 100 Businesswomen of Influence.

In 2021, Brown Toy Box products hit the shelves of Target stores nationwide, Amazon, and specialty toy stores, turning Terri-Nichelle’s dream from curator to creator into reality. Originally from Minnesota and a graduate of Augsburg College, Terri-Nichelle is also a proud mom to D’Andre, Justin, Maya, and Makayla.
