Award-Winning Parenting Publication Welcomes International Fashion Icon and Mother of Three to Editorial Leadership Team

ATLANTA, GA – Successful Black Parenting Magazine is proud to announce the appointment of Sessilee Lopez as Co-Editor, bringing her unique perspective as an internationally acclaimed supermodel, entrepreneur, and millennial mother of three to one of the nation’s leading parenting publications serving Black families.

Lopez joins the editorial leadership team alongside her mother, Publisher and CEO Janice Robinson-Celeste, marking a powerful multigenerational collaboration that blends decades of parenting expertise with the voice and experiences of today’s modern parents.

Born on January 4, 1989, Sessilee Lopez has built an extraordinary career in the global fashion industry. Sessilee began modeling professionally after signing with IMG Models in 2004 and quickly rose to become one of the industry’s most recognizable faces.

Throughout her career, Lopez has appeared in American, Italian, French, Japanese, and German editions of Vogue, as well as V Magazine, W Magazine, Allure, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Numéro, and many other leading fashion publications. She graced one of the four covers of Vogue Italia’s historic “All Black” issue and has appeared on the covers of Vogue Italia, Harper’s Bazaar, and French Numéro.

Lopez has walked runways for some of the world’s most prestigious fashion houses, including Givenchy, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta, Marc Jacobs, Fendi, Lanvin, Carolina Herrera, Alexander Wang, Jean Paul Gaultier, and Vivienne Westwood. She also appeared in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows in 2008 and 2009 and has represented global brands including Calvin Klein, DKNY, Tommy Hilfiger, Gap, H&M, Uniqlo, MAC Cosmetics, and Saks Fifth Avenue.

While her professional accomplishments have earned international recognition, Lopez says motherhood has become her most meaningful role.

As Co-Editor, Lopez will contribute editorial direction, feature writing, celebrity and lifestyle coverage, family travel content, parenting perspectives, and multimedia storytelling designed to engage millennial and Gen Z parents.
