Black Moms Talk

May 12, 2019

May 12, 2019

Our publisher, Janice Robinson-Celeste spoke with the ladies of the Momference, Nikki Osei-Barrett and Simona Noce Wright. We spoke about everything newsworthy from parents getting dress coded at a school in Texas — meaning no more wearing your bonnet to school, y’all, to the royal birth.

Click here to watch the interview.

These ladies are in charge of a fabulous conference for women of color in the Washington, D.C. area called, The Momference. This conference is the nation’s first full-day conference geared towards magical, millennial moms.

There’s no other conference like it and this year attendance doubled and sold out in 48 hours and these moms are ready to help serve others like them so that they can Give, Grow, and Glow!

The 2019 keynotes are; Tatyana Ali, Actress, Speaker, Philanthropist, Dr. Amira Ogunleye, Celebrity Cosmetic Dentist, and Khadeen Ellis, Actress, TV Host and the conference is on May 18th.

That’s in addition to influencers, personalities and parenting thought leaders and experts all gathered in the name of #BlackMomMagic.

Since you can’t make it to this year’s Momference. Check out their website and get on their mailing list so you don’t miss the next one.
