Keeping children quiet during this COVID-19 quarantine seems like a hope and a prayer but it is possible. Children need periods of peace, whether they resist or not, especially when homeschooling or reading. Our resident preschooler, Mackie loves the Teepee Play Tent by Delta.

There are a few designs to choose from including a geometric design and a ballet themed teepee. Since we are space nuts, we picked the astronaut themed version. Mackie loves reading her books in the teepee for quiet time. Use quiet spaces as a place to create calm. Calming areas should never be used as a punishment. We call it her “relaxation-station.”
