Did you know that if you read five books every night to your child from the day they are born, your child will be exposed to about 1.4 million words before entering Kindergarten? What an amazing head start and advantage you can give by just establishing a simple bedtime routine of reading each night. We recommend sturdy board books at this age since pages can be ripped and toddlers tend to put books in their mouths. We don’t want them eating paper.

Here are some board books that we consider quality literature for toddlers that can help your child achieve what we call #BlackExcellence. Click the title to purchase on Amazon.
