Kids Travel In Style With Lela & Mosi Luggage

The Hook Up

1465438617_Plane-TicketGoing to grandma’s house? Let the little one pack her own luggage in this Lela suitcase from the UK, called a trolley case in good old England. This suitcase has a whimsical drawing of a Black girl with Afro-puffs! Designed by a dad for his children.

butterflyThe idea was born when a proud father of a beautiful newborn baby girl went out looking for something special to buy for his little princess. He came across a few items of merchandise for young girls with animated characters on them, none of which represented his daughter. After making this discovery, he went home to his wife and expressed his
disappointment. So using her creative flair they set out on a trolley-case-backjourney to develop a character to which young African and Caribbean girls could relate (Lela & Mosi website).

Unfortunately, there’s not a Mosi suitcase to choose from yet, but there are backpacks available on their website.

Did you know Lela in Swahili means Black beauty? We feel a new baby trend is about to take off here!butterfly 2
