Orjanette Bryant is a nurse, mother, wife, entrepreneur, friend, mentor, community advocate, and educator. She was nominated for the Soroptimist Woman of the Year Award 2016 for Flagler-Volusia County. Recently she was awarded and recognized by The American Health Council as one of Florida’s Best Nurses for her leadership, and community involvement, including hosting literacy workshops for the youth at The Boys and Girl Club, monthly publishing workshops, and advocacy throughout the United States. She has even spoken about these topics at the White House. Orjanette is currently, an honors student in the Family Nurse Practitioner program at South University. Her husband is a 25-year veteran political cartoonist and is a self-syndicated cartoonist for his animation series. Her oldest son and co-author of “Small Voices Heard: The Parental Guide” is graduating with his doctoral degree as a chiropractor and her youngest son was recently accepted to multiple colleges with a 3.6 GPA from the University of Central Florida. Her honor student daughter is a digital cartoon artist and entrepreneur, while enrolled in gifted and advanced classes at her local high school.
